Set amongst the treetops of the bamboo forests of Zhejiang Province, we supported the BMW Foundation team to design and convene 30 high-level participants from emerging economies and European companies, governments and civil society for an eye-to-eye and frank discussion regarding the transition towards a world of shared responsibilities for resources. The meeting in China, from 17-20 July 2014, was the first of a series of Global Tables on Resource Security, organized by BMW Foundation with support of Earth Security. The next events will take place in Italy, Brazil, Poland, sub-Saharan Africa and Germany.
